Overview
This page explains the agreement you accept when accessing, registering for, or using the SportMeet platform.
You must be legally able to enter contracts and provide accurate account details.
SportMeet facilitates venue and service bookings but does not guarantee third-party service delivery.
I. Acceptance of Terms
Who is bound by these terms and how SportMeet may update them over time.
1. Agreement to Terms
All references to "you" or "your" mean any person accessing or using the SportMeet platform. If you use the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity.
These Terms of Use govern your use of:

- Mobile applications and related services
Together referred to as the "SportMeet Platform." By accessing, registering, or using SportMeet, you agree to these Terms, agree to the Privacy Policy, and enter into a legally binding agreement with SportMeet.
If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. Company Information
SportMeet is operated by SportMeet Pty Ltd, registered in Australia under the Corporations Act 2001. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean SportMeet Pty Ltd.
3. Privacy Policy
Your use of the platform is also governed by the Privacy Policy in accordance with:
- Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
- Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)
4. Changes to Terms
SportMeet may update these Terms at any time. Changes may be notified through a website update or an in-app notification. Continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms.
II. Use of Platform
Eligibility, account obligations, acceptable use, and platform safeguards.
1. Eligibility
- Be 18 years or older
- Be legally capable of entering contracts under Australian law
- Provide accurate registration details
Accounts may be suspended or terminated if information is false or incomplete, or if laws or terms are violated.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must notify SportMeet immediately of any unauthorised access or security breach.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, abusive, or misleading content
- Violate Australian laws or regulations
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Harass, threaten, or harm others
- Upload viruses or malicious code
- Attempt hacking, scraping, or unauthorised access
- Use automated tools without permission
- Conduct fraudulent or misleading activities
4. Content Rights
By uploading content, you grant SportMeet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content. You also confirm that you own the content and that it does not violate third-party rights.
5. Monitoring
SportMeet may monitor platform activity, remove content that violates these Terms, and share information when required by law enforcement.
III. Services and Bookings
What SportMeet provides, what third parties provide, and how payments and refunds are handled.
1. Nature of Platform
SportMeet is a facilitator platform connecting users with sports venues, events, and service providers. SportMeet does not own or operate venues unless explicitly stated and does not guarantee the quality of third-party services.
2. Third-Party Providers
Venues, coaches, and organisers are independent. SportMeet does not guarantee service quality and is not liable for injuries, losses, or disputes arising from third-party services.
3. Payments
- Payments are processed via secure third-party gateways
- You must use valid payment methods
- SportMeet does not store sensitive card details
- Invoices are issued by the service provider, not SportMeet
4. Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds depend on venue policies and event organiser rules. SportMeet is not responsible for refund disputes unless explicitly stated.
IV. Liability, Conduct, and Termination
The limits of platform liability and the conduct expected from users.
1. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under Australian law, SportMeet is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or personal injury from third-party services.
Nothing excludes rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
2. User Conduct
- Do not misrepresent identity
- Do not impersonate others
- Do not damage SportMeet's reputation
- Do not interfere with platform operations
3. Termination
SportMeet may suspend or terminate an account if the user breaches these Terms or engages in unlawful conduct. Users may stop using the platform at any time.
4. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be handled in Australian courts.
